What’s the best age to start Tae Kwon Do Lessons?

4 years old is typically a great starting age, although here at King TKD we are offering a motor skills development class designed specifically for 3 year old children.

How can I register for classes?

We make registration simple and convenient.  Stop by the studio at any time to meet the instructors and register, or you can register right over the phone.  You can even register for someone else as a gift.

How long does it take to reach black belt?

This speed at which you advance is directly a result of your commitment level.  For example, if you attend class consistently 3 times per week it’s possible to reach black belt within 2 1/2 to 3 years.  Attending less classes will result in a longer process.

Does King Tae Kwon Do offer black belt club promotion?

Yes.  You can see quite a bit of savings when you sign up for our black belt club promotion.  (Inquire with our staff for details)

How often does King Tae Kwon Do offer belt testing?

King TKD offers belt testing for advancement every 3 months (quarterly).  It is also possible for very dedicated students to skip a belt provided their skill level is appropriate for the level of advancement.

Why should I choose King Tae Kwon Do over other schools in the area?

Grandmaster K was awarded best instructor by the President of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.  He became a Kukkiwon certified Master in 1995 and is a 7th Degree Black belt Master/TKD, HKD & JUDO.  We expect a very high level of skill from our students that come through our program and therefore are very committed to providing the highest level of instruction.  All first time students are welcome to try a free class with any one of our very qualified instructors.
